Trending Decor for 2014

This is a list of items and ideas which I think we'll be seeing more of in terms of home design this year. I tried to sort out the items into two different style categories although I think some of the items could get mixed into one another.

GEOMETRIC AND ARCHITECTURAL
-Geometric shaped table lamp bases or even vases with geometric designs, or ones that have a hammered or ripple look.
-Simple architect style desks, and/or glass/acrylic clear desks.
-Small succulent plants.
-Items accented with coppery golds like chairs, hampers, or tables.
-Black and white photos or abstract artwork.
-Eiffel Tower figurals.
-Fully gold dipped looking decor items like faux perfume bottles, wall letters, or even candle jars.
-Honeycombed or geometric shaped wall decor items whether its wall shelves or art.
-Anything black and white from wall images to throw pillows that reads 'Chanel' or has the Chanel logo.

NATURAL AND ETHNIC
-Floral printed fabrics or even faux hydrangea plants.
-Natural colors like beige, navy, or even bright blues... and textures like rugs, woven baskets, bedding, and even geometric tribal designs.
-Ethnic throw pillows.
-Hotpink accent pieces.
-Birch-wood looking items like lampshades and candles.
-Half white or black dipped items on natural looking objects like clay pots and wood.
